How much water do I need to add in the machine before cooking?

Our egg cooker water levels—it handles a broad range. For 8 eggs simply add 140 mL of water(200mL for 1-2 eggs ). Rotate the knob to select soft, medium, or hard-cooked eggs. Enjoy perfectly cooked eggs every time, hassle-free.
Why pierce a hole on the wider end of the eggs when making boiled eggs?

Piercing the wide end releases trapped air, preventing cracks as eggs heat. It lets steam escape gently and water flow under the membrane, avoiding pressure buildup. This makes shells peel off cleanly and ensures whites set evenly around the yolk.
I did pierce a hole on each egg. Why I have egg white leaking everywhere in the machine after cooking boiled eggs?

Piercing the narrow end forces air and white through the membrane, causing leaks. The air pocket sits at the wide end—simply make a tiny hole at the wide end so air escapes gently without tearing the inner membrane or letting egg white flow out.
I did turn the knob to HARD to make boiled eggs why the result is not firm enough?

Water runs out faster when cooking fewer eggs. 140ml water works perfectly with 8 eggs. But when cooking 1-2 eggs water might run out before the timer finishes resulting in under cooked eggs. To solve this simply add more water (200ml or below MAX).
