Instructions
1. Ensure the stove is completely cool! Use a scraper, wire brush, or other tool to thoroughly remove any old, hardened, or expired sealing cord and adhesive residue. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to dry.
2. Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to the groove where the sealing cord will be installed.
3. Remove the new sealing cord from the kit, cut it to the desired length, and press it firmly into the adhesive-coated groove, ensuring it is evenly applied throughout the groove.
4. Once the seal is complete, allow it to cure (initial curing time is approximately 10 minutes, and full curing takes 24 hours).
Notes
1. Always operate the stove when it is completely cool! Wear gloves and maintain adequate ventilation when handling.
2. Do not use this product to repair structural cracks in furnaces or chimneys. It is only suitable for joints with original seals.
3. When not in use, seal the packaging and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
